What information do I need to transfer money to a Thai bank account?
In order to send money to a Thai bank account, you’ll need to provide the following information, as well as additional documentation that supports your reason for payment.
- Full name of account holder
- Account Number
- BIC/SWIFT code
- Invoice with supplier’s name and address (if making a business payment)
- Photographic ID of the recipient and a copy of the recipient’s bank statement, less than three months old, with proof of address (if making a personal payment)
- A bank statement from the recipient account, less than three months old (if paying your own account in Thailand)
